Expert incident response for Render
Our founding team picks up your incident, and Polylane's agents dig through your logs, metrics, traces and code with them.
- Real engineers who've carried the pager The team has been on-call at Cloudflare, Webflow, Groq, Twilio, and Robinhood. They've been where you are right now.
- Multi-cloud incident response Polylane investigates incidents across AWS, Cloudflare, Vercel, Kubernetes and the rest of your stack, from the edge to the database.
- Unified context & investigation Logs, metrics, traces, deploys and code in one context graph. Connect in minutes, not weeks.
- Least-privilege access New cloud accounts connect read-only, with scoped credentials. Nothing in production changes unless you allow it.

My app on Render is down. What should I do?
Check status.render.com first. If Render reports nothing, open the service's Events and Logs: Port scan timeout reached means your app isn't listening on 0.0.0.0 and the port in PORT, and an out-of-memory event means the instance needs more memory or your app is leaking it. If the errors started with a deploy, roll back from the service's Deploys page, then fix forward.
- 1 Check Render's status status.render.com lists incidents by service and region. If yours shows one, the problem is upstream.
- 2 Read the events and logs The service's Events page shows failed deploys, restarts and out-of-memory kills, and its Logs show the errors behind them.
- 3 Line it up with your last deploy Compare when the errors started with the service's deploys. Saving environment variables can trigger a deploy too, so it counts as a change.
- 4 Roll back, then dig in On the Deploys page, find the last successful deploy and choose Rollback. Render reuses its build, so it's quick, and it turns auto-deploy off until you turn it back on.

How we resolve active incidents
- 1 Rapid onboarding A Polylane engineer reaches out, connects Polylane to your clouds, code and telemetry, and confirms what's affected.
- 2 Investigation & mitigation Polylane's agents investigate across logs, metrics, traces and recent changes, and an engineer works with you on the right mitigation.
- 3 Remediation, validation & monitoring The fix lands in your repo for your team to review. Polylane checks that things are back to normal and keeps watching every deploy after it.
Why teams choose Polylane
“I use Polylane across my AWS and Vercel accounts. It has been really great at automatically fixing errors that happen before I even notice them from Sentry.”
Jarod Stewart Conspire, on Product Hunt Common questions
Is Render down or is it my app?
Check status.render.com. If it shows no incident for your region, the service's Events page shows whether your deploy failed or the instance keeps restarting.
What does "Port scan timeout reached" mean on Render?
Render didn't see your app listening on a port in time. Bind your server to 0.0.0.0 on the port in the PORT environment variable. More in our guide.
How do I roll back a deploy on Render?
Open the service's Deploys page, find a recent successful deploy and choose Rollback. Auto-deploy is switched off afterwards, so turn it back on in Settings once the fix is in.
Who will help me with a Render incident?
Our founding team, engineers who have carried the pager for production systems at scale, working with Polylane's agents across your Render services, code and telemetry.
